JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) has recorded that two roads in South Jakarta are flooded due to heavy rain that hit Jabodetabek on Monday (4/2/2026). The Head of the Data and Information Centre of BPBD DKI Jakarta, Mohamad Yohan, stated that the data is an update until 4:00 p.m. WIB. “BPBD records that there are currently two roads inundated,” said Yohan on Monday. The water height at those locations reaches about 30 to 70 centimetres. The flooding was triggered by high rainfall intensity in recent times, causing the water level at the Pesanggrahan post to rise to alert level 3. “BPBD DKI Jakarta has deployed personnel to monitor the inundation conditions in every area and coordinate with the Water Resources Agency, Road and Bridge Agency, and Transportation Agency to carry out pumping of the inundations and ensure that the water barriers function properly,” said Yohan. BPBD DKI urges the public to remain careful and alert to the potential for inundation.
