Two RI workers killed in Malaysia
MALAYSIA: Two Indonesian migrant workers were stabbed to death
during a clash between rival gangs of plantation workers in
Malaysia, the national news agency reported on Monday.
Police arrested six suspects believed to have been involved in
the fighting, which broke shortly after midnight on Sunday
morning near a palm oil estate in the district of Miri in
Sarawak, an eastern Malaysian state on Borneo island, said Miri
police chief Ambrose Chung.
The victims were identified as Iwan Mappa, 25, and Apo, 19,
Chung was quoted as saying by Bernama news agency.
Chung said police were investigating the cause of the clash.
A police spokesman in Miri contacted by telephone declined to
