The Corruption Eradasting Commission (KPK) has seized several vehicles, including two Porsche cars, from the home of former Deputy Minister of Imipas, Silmy Karim, in Brawijaya, South Jakarta. These two Porsche units were not listed in Silmy’s State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN).

According to reports on Monday (8/6/2026), KPK investigators raided Silmy’s residence in the Brawijaya area, South Jakarta, on Friday (5/6). Investigators subsequently removed several vehicles from the premises. Observations showed that the KPK took two Porsche sports cars, along with several Harley-Davidson motorcycles and various bicycles.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that cash was also seized from Silmy’s home, though he has not yet clarified the origin or ownership of the seized items. “Two sports cars, ten two-wheeled vehicles ranging from Vespas to heavy motorcycles and Harleys, seven bicycles, and various other jewellery,” said Budi Prasetyo.

According to the official KPK website, Silmy submitted his LHKPN on 14 March 2026, covering his wealth for the year 2025. In that report, Silmy declared ownership of seven transport vehicles, including a 2003 Harley-Davidson, a 1998 Harley-Davidson, a 1988 Jeep CJ7, a 1979 Mercedes-Benz 280E, a 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser, a 1996 Jeep Wrangler, and a 2022 Mercedes G63, with a total vehicle value of Rp 8.4 billion.

Silmy was previously named a suspect in an alleged extortion case involving the processing of stay permits for foreign nationals (WNA). It is alleged that the extortion took place between 2022 and 2026, during his tenure as Director General of Immigration from 2023 to 2024. The KPK suspects Silmy received weekly payments of Rp 100 million, with the total alleged extortion amounting to approximately Rp 145.5 billion. Eight individuals have been named as suspects in the case, including Silmy Karim and several high-ranking immigration officials.
