Two Police Officers in NTT Involved in Hoarding Subsidised Fuel to Face Ethics Trial Soon
Two police officers involved in the hoarding of subsidised fuel oil (BBM) in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) are to face an ethics trial shortly. The pair are the Head of the Community Protection Unit at East Manggarai Police Resort, Aipda Djefri Loudoe (DGL) alias Jelo, and the Commander of Company 4, Battalion B Pelopor, Satbrimob Polda NTT, Iptu Herman Pati Bean.
“So far, for the two members currently being handled for the ethics code process, it remains processed in accordance with the Polri professional ethics code,” stated the Head of the Profession and Security Division (Kabid Propram) of Polda NTT, AKBP Muhammad Anfra Wardhana, during a press conference at his office on Tuesday (5/5/2026).
Andra emphasised that Polda NTT does not take such matters lightly and shows no favouritism when personnel deviate from their duties. According to him, Jelo and Herman will be sanctioned to the maximum in line with the Polri professional ethics code. This is an effort to prevent every personnel from becoming involved in fuel hoarding cases again.
“They will be subjected to maximum sanctions as an example to their colleagues so as not to trifle with rule-breaking matters,” Andra stressed.
According to Andra, Polda NTT will soon hold an ethics code trial for Jelo and Herman because the case has drawn the attention of NTT Police Chief Irjen Rudi Darmoko, the public, and President Prabowo Subianto. “That is as a form of our commitment in accordance with the instructions from the Chief,” Andra explained.
It was previously reported that Polda NTT officially detained two members involved in the hoarding of subsidised diesel in East Manggarai, NTT. The subsidised BBM was stored in a warehouse owned by PT Surya Sejahtera in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai.
The two detained police officers are Kanit Paminal Polres Manggarai Timur Aipda Djefri Loudoe (DGL) alias Jelo and Komandan Kompi 4 Batalion B Pelopor Satbrimob Polda NTT Iptu Herman Pati Bean.
“Regarding the handling of the alleged misuse of BBM case, investigators have detained two individuals suspected of being involved in the matter,” stated the Head of Public Relations of Polda NTT, Kombes Henry Novika Chandra, to detikBali on Tuesday (28/4/2026).
