Two of Prabowo's Ministers Hold Stakes in Several Issuers Listed on the IDX

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — There are two ministers recorded as holding shares in a number of issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The shareholdings are sizeable, exceeding 1% of the total shares outstanding, according to data from the Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI).

According to KSEI data as of 27 February 2026, two ministers in President Prabowo Subianto’s Red and White Cabinet are on the list. They are Minister of Housing and Public Works Maruarar Sirait and Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

Maruarar, commonly known as Ara, is recorded as holding over 1% in four stocks. These include PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk (BOLA), PT Industri Dan Perdagangan Bintraco Dharma Tbk (CARS), PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk (COCO), and PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM).

Ara is recorded as owning 114,864,500 shares in the Bali United football club operator BOLA, equivalent to 1.91% of the total shares outstanding.

In addition to BOLA, Ara also holds shares in the chocolate manufacturer PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk (COCO). His stake totals 117,910,500 shares, or 3.31%.

Ara is also seen as the owner of 737,518,000 shares in PT Industri dan Perdagangan Bintraco Dharma Tbk (CARS). His holding accounts for about 4.92% of that auto-financing issuer.

Ara also holds 78,444,800 shares in the affiliated PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM), equating to a 1.1% stake.

On the other hand, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono is observed as the owner of shares in PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk. (MDKA). His stake in the Boy Thohir-affiliated company is recorded at 251,617,003 shares or 1.03%.
