Two Notable Cars in the Garage of New BPJS Director Prihati Pujowaskito
Jakarta, VIVA – Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Prihati Pujowaskito has officially assumed the role of Chief Executive of BPJS Kesehatan for the 2026–2031 term. Behind his new appointment, information regarding his vehicle assets is worth examining as part of public transparency.
According to wealth declaration data reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), reviewed by VIVA Otomotif on Friday 20 February 2026, Pujowaskito is recorded as owning two cars in his garage. The total value of both vehicles reaches Rp925 million, comprising one electric car and one conventional passenger vehicle.
The first vehicle in his possession is a 2022 Hyundai Ioniq with an estimated value of approximately Rp700 million. This electric-powered car reflects the retired general’s interest in modern transport technology that is gaining traction in Indonesia.
His choice of an electric vehicle mirrors support for the energy efficiency drive currently being promoted by the government. In his official declaration, this futuristically designed car is recorded as having been acquired from his own earnings during the course of his career.
In addition to the electric car, a 2020 Honda Jazz CVT is also parked at his residence. The hatchback, known for its practicality in urban use, has an estimated market value of around Rp225 million.
Although this model is no longer produced as new in Indonesia, the Honda Jazz remains a popular choice owing to its reliability. As with the previous vehicle, the ownership status of this car is also listed as self-acquired in his wealth records.
Overall, both cars suggest automotive preferences that prioritise function and comfort for daily mobility. The combination of new technology and an urban runabout paints a picture of a proportionate lifestyle for a public official.
The presence of these two vehicles completes the profile of the cardiac specialist who now heads the national health insurance agency. This information provides insight into another facet of the new BPJS Kesehatan leader’s management of his personal assets.
