Two Mobile Driver's Licence Service Locations Available This Sunday

The Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya) is opening mobile driver’s licence (SIM) services at two locations in Jakarta this Sunday for members of the public wishing to extend their legal driving permits.

According to the official X account @tmcpoldametro, the services will be available from 07:00 to 12:00 WIB at the following locations:

East Jakarta: Jalan Raden Mas Intan, adjacent to McDonald’s, Duren Sawit.

West Jakarta: Jalan Panjang, adjacent to Indomaret, Kebon Jeruk.

The mobile SIM service only handles renewals for valid licences of specific categories, namely Class A and Class C. If the validity period of the licence has already expired, owners must apply for a new licence at locations designated by the police.

Regarding renewal costs, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 76 of 2020 concerning the Types and Tariffs of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the National Police, the fee is IDR 80,000 for Class A and IDR 75,000 for Class C. In addition to these fees, applicants are also required to pay additional costs for psychological and health tests via the Simpel Pol application.
