Two men killed in Aceh revenge attack
BANDA ACEH: Two suspected rebels were killed in on Thursday, in what was thought to be a revenge-killing after a police captain was killed by separatists in Lhokseumawe on Wednesday.
Lt. Col. Supartodi, chief of the Pidie Military Subdistrict, said on Friday that the men were shot dead in an attack on the Tiro Village where those who killed Adj. Brig. Syarifuddin in Lhokseumawe, allegedly came from.
An FN-46 gun and 34 bullets were also taken from the two bodies who were identified as Abdul Karim, 22, and Basri Hasballah 22, Supartodi said. The two bodies were handed over to their relatives for funerals.
