The Attorney General’s Office has identified two major schemes in the investigation of alleged corruption within the management of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025-2026 period. Investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) have so far named five suspects.

‘So, there are two major clusters of schemes that we are currently investigating,’ said Director of Investigations at Jampidsus, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, at the Kejagung Round Building, Jakarta, on Friday.

The first cluster involves the buying and selling of locations for Nutritional Fulfilment Service Points (SPPG) kitchens. The second involves the procurement of goods and services. ‘Those two clusters are what we are investigating in parallel,’ Syarief explained.

On 3 June 2026, Jampidsus investigators named three former BGN officials as suspects: former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana (DH), former BGN Deputy Head for Organisational Development and Institutional Support Lodewyk Pusung (LP), and former BGN Deputy Head for Nutritional Fulfilment Operations Sony Sonjaya (SS).

A fourth suspect, Asep Yusuf Somantri (AYS), was named on 6 June 2026. He is a private party involved in locating SPPG kitchen sites. On 12 June 2026, a fifth suspect was named: Andri Mulyono, Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal (YAT), who was involved in the procurement of electric motorcycles for BGN. ‘Tonight, we have named a suspect in one of the procurement processes, namely the electric motorcycles,’ he stated.
