Two INKA commuter trainsets experienced technical problems this morning, resulting in the cancellation of five services on the Bogor and Cikarang routes.

KAI Commuter Vice-President of Corporate Secretary Karina Amanda confirmed the incident. She said the cause of the disruption was still being investigated by the relevant teams.

“Two CLI-225 trainsets that experienced problems are currently undergoing further technical investigation by INKA technicians and KAI Commuter technicians at the depot,” Karina said.

KAI Commuter Public Relations Manager Leza Arlan said the problems occurred while the trains were being inspected before entering service.

“Following the daily pre-service inspection, two trainsets stabled at Bukit Duri Depot experienced problems,” Leza said.

For the safety of services, KAI Commuter and INKA technical teams subsequently worked to handle and repair the two affected trainsets. As a result, five commuter services on the Bogor and Cikarang routes were cancelled.

“Today’s Commuter Line services on the Bogor and Cikarang routes have been cancelled as a result,” Leza said.

The five cancelled services were:

Bogor route:

  • KA 1124F, Depok–Bogor (departing at 05:33 WIB)

  • KA 1195F, Cilebut–Jakarta Kota (departing at 06:22 WIB)

  • KA 1192F, Jakarta Kota–Depok (departing at 07:48 WIB)

Cikarang route:

  • KA 5513C, Manggarai–Kampung Bandan (departing at 06:55 WIB)

  • KA 5514B, Kampung Bandan–Pasar Senen–Cikarang (departing at 07:29 WIB)

KAI Commuter apologised for the inconvenience. It urged passengers to prioritise safety, follow instructions from staff at stations and on trains, and make alternative travel plans.
