Two Indonesians nabbed for fraud

SINGAPORE: Two Indonesians arrested for credit card fraud will be charged in a Singapore court on Wednesday, police said.

The men, claiming to be a doctor and a businessman, purchased S$30,000 (US$17,600) worth of watches, branded clothing and health tonics at shopping centers, officials said on Tuesday.

Police received a tip-off and arrested the men, aged 32 and 45.

If convicted, they faced up to seven years in jail and a fine. -- DPA
