Two further exhibitions

JAKARTA (JP): Two more exhibitions of paintings will be held
in Jakarta this month.

Painters from the group Nuansalima -- Sudigdo, A. Malik Atiaz,
Rukmini Yusuf Affandi, Agus Budiyanto and Suminto -- will exhibit
their paintings at the Executive Club at the Jakarta
International Hilton Hotel from June 19 to June 28. The
exhibition is scheduled to be opened by the wife of the State
Minister for Investment, Mrs. Susrinah Sastrowardoyo.

Meanwhile, the Lions Club Jakarta Kencana will is organizing
an exhibition of works by painter Krisna Murti to be held at the
Sahid Jaya Hotel from June 29 to July 4.

Entitled "Dynamism beyond the deityland", the exhibition will
feature 25 acrylic paintings focusing on Bali, especially
Balinese dancers.

Sudigdo of Nuansalima said that a portion of the proceeds from
the sale of the paintings in their exhibition would be donated to
the Indonesian Red Cross, while funds raised by the Lions Club
would be given to people living in slum areas in Jakarta. (als)
