Two Former Deputy Heads of National Nutrition Agency Named Suspects Following Dadan Hindayana in Attorney General's Investigation

The investigation into alleged corruption involving the sale of Nutrition Service Fulfillment Unit (SPPG) points within the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) continues to expand. Following the designation of former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana as a suspect, two former Deputy Heads of the BGN have now been implicated in the case.

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) officially named Sony Sonjaya and Lodewyk Pusung as suspects in the case currently being investigated by the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). The designation followed their interrogation by investigators. Shortly thereafter, both Sony and Lodewyk were seen wearing the characteristic orange detainee vests of the Attorney General’s Office, marking their change in legal status.

With the addition of these two individuals, a total of three former high-ranking BGN officials have been named as suspects, including Dadan Hindamente, who was previously detained in connection with this matter. The detention process for the suspects is ongoing at the Attorney General’s Office circular building. Sony Sonjaya was observed waiting in the lobby area before being escorted further by investigators.

Previously, it was reported that the Attorney General’s Office named former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana as a suspect in the alleged corruption case involving the trading of SPPG points on Wednesday, 3 June 2026. This designation serves as the culmination of an investigation that included searches at the BGN office in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta.

The search of the BGN office in Jakarta by investigators drew significant attention as it occurred just one day after President Prabowo Subianto reshuffled the agency’s leadership. The Acting Head of the Legal Information Centre of the Attorney General’s Office, Jefri, confirmed that the investigators from the Directorate of Special Crimes were conducting legal actions at the BGN office.

This raid emerged amidst major structural changes within the BGN. On Tuesday night, 2 June 2026, President Prabowo implemented a leadership change in the agency, which serves as the primary spearhead for the national nutrition fulfilment programme.
