Two Foreign Content Creators Behind Fake Ride-Hailing Pornography Fail to Flee to Thailand

Police have arrested three foreign nationals (WNA) as actors in pornographic videos impersonating online ride-hailing drivers in Bali. Two of the suspects were apprehended at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport whilst attempting to flee to Thailand.

“They were planning to depart for Thailand, but we arrested them at the airport. There are indications of an attempt to flee,” said Gde Oki Rizky Aryadhika Heris, Head of the Immigration Inspection Centre at Ngurah Rai Airport, as cited by detikBali on Wednesday (18/3/2026).

The two foreign nationals arrested were a 23-year-old French woman with initials MMZL and a 24-year-old Italian man with initials NBS. Both were arrested on Friday (13/3).

In addition to apprehending the pair of actors, police also secured a 26-year-old French man with initials ERB in Canggu Village, North Kuta District, Badung. This man served as the manager and was responsible for uploading the adult content to OnlyFans and X platforms.

“So the woman had a working relationship with the third suspect (ERB) as employee and manager. Their acquaintance began at a nightlife venue in North Kuta,” explained Badung Police Chief AKBP Joseph Edward Purba on Tuesday (17/3).

Police have confirmed that the genuine ride-hailing driver who was featured in viral photographs with the suspects holds only witness status. Authorities also seized several pieces of evidence from the three foreign nationals, including three iPhones, cameras, and ride-hailing driver vests.
