Police have arrested two men suspected of distributing illegal narcotics in Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java. The arrests took place after the individuals arrived at a vehicle workshop in a state of intoxication.

“Officers from the Cileungsi Police Sector secured two men suspected of being drug dealers in the Gandoang area,” stated Cileungsi Police Chief, Commissioner Edison, on Friday (11/09/2026).

The arrest was carried out on Thursday (10/09) night. The operation began when the workshop owner became suspicious of two customers who arrived during the night.

“The workshop owner felt suspicious of two customers who appeared to be in a drunken condition,” he explained.

The owner subsequently reported the incident to the police. Upon receiving the report, officers immediately proceeded to the location to conduct an inspection.

“During the search, officers discovered a black plastic bag containing thousands of tablets of illegal drugs. The two men were then immediately detained and taken to the Cileungsi Police Station for further investigation,” he said.

Based on initial investigations, both individuals are residents of Cianjur. They reportedly intended to distribute the drugs back in Cianjur.

“In this disclosure, the police seized evidence consisting of approximately 1,410 tablets of illegal drugs,” he added.

The two men have since been handed over to the Bogor District Police Narcotics Unit, along with the evidence, for further investigation.
