Two DJs Arrested by Police in Sunter with Methamphetamine and Ecstasy

Jakarta — The Tanjung Priok Port Police arrested two DJs suspected of involvement in narcotics abuse in the Sunter Agung area of Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

“The suspects apprehended were LL (29) and W (29). Evidence seized included two packets of plastic containing methamphetamine, one clear clip plastic packet containing ecstasy and one mobile phone,” said Head of Narcotics Investigation Unit at Tanjung Priok Port Police AKP Trendy Habibi Ariyanto when confirmed by Kompas.com on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

“Following this, operational members conducted investigations at the location, then on Tuesday (17 February 2026) at approximately 02.30 Western Indonesian Time, they carried out the arrest,” he added.

During the search, LL and W were found to possess two plastic packets containing methamphetamine with a total gross weight of 0.97 grams and one clear clip plastic packet containing ecstasy.

Based on preliminary examination, both suspects admitted that the narcotics were scheduled to be delivered to someone with the initial B, who is currently on the wanted persons list.

“The suspects and evidence were subsequently brought to Tanjung Priok Port Police for further processing,” Habibi stated.

He added that his team would conduct laboratory testing of the narcotics evidence at the Central Forensic Laboratory.
