Two die of food poisoning

BANYUMAS, Central Java: Two people died and 18 others were
hospitalized for diarrhea after they ate food at a party at the
home of Darsono, a resident of Klahang village, Sokaraja
district, last week.

The head of the local health office, Dr. Mambo Diyanto, told
The Jakarta Post that around 100 people suffered from diarrhea
after eating 'jenang', a local delicacy made of glutinous rice and
sugar.

Mambo said some samples of the dish and the water used to
prepare it were currently being examined at his office's
