Two Dead After House Fire in Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta

A house on Jalan Pulo Mas Utara 2B in Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, was destroyed by fire, resulting in two deaths. The incident occurred around 7:31 PM local time. According to witness accounts, the event began when neighbours heard a loud noise similar to an explosion. Upon checking, they saw the fire had already grown and was spreading rapidly throughout the structure. The East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service deployed nine fire engines along with support units and 45 personnel to the scene. The firefighting operation was fully completed by 9:21 PM. The exact cause of the fire and the total material losses are still under investigation by the police.
