Two companies in Sleman Regency have yet to provide full holiday allowances (THR) to their employees. The case has been reported to the DIY Labour Inspectorate for resolution.

Head of the Sleman Labour Office (Disnaker), Ephipana Kristyani, explained that the two companies were complained about to the THR Complaint Post at the Labour Office. Since a week before Eid, a total of five complaints have been received involving four companies.

“The integrated THR complaint mechanism is through a WhatsApp channel managed by DIY’s Disnakertras. As of 17 March 2026, specifically in Sleman Regency, there are five complaints involving four companies,” said Ephipana when contacted by reporters on Wednesday (25/3/2026).

She explained that of the four complained-about companies, two have paid the workers’ entitlements. Meanwhile, the other two companies have yet to fully pay the THR.

“Of the four companies subject to complaints, two companies have paid THR on 13 March 2026. Meanwhile, two companies have paid but not in accordance with the provisions, not 100 percent,” she clarified.

Regarding the two companies, in accordance with applicable regulations, they have been reported to the labour supervisor.

“For the two companies that have not met the THR payment requirements, they have been reported to the DIY Labour Inspectorate for follow-up,” she explained.

She stated that the office has summoned several companies to resolve THR issues. However, some companies could not be reached for various reasons. Currently, the Sleman Labour Office is awaiting the results of the inspection from the supervisor.

“There will later be a recommendation letter to the Regent to follow up on the problem,” she concluded.
