Two cavers die in Gudawang Cave

BOGOR: Two members of a Tangerang outdoor adventure club were found dead on Thursday morning in Gudawang Cave, Cigudeg district.

It is thought that the two, Sofyan M. Nur, 33, and Hariono, 33, had died of asphyxiation. Their bodies were taken to the Bogor Indonesian Red Cross Hospital.

Sofyan and Hariono were found along a caving route leading to Rangkasbitung area in Tangerang.

Antara reported that the two were conducting a preliminary survey for a caving trip with their club. -- JP
