Two car thieves mobbed in Bekasi

BEKASI: Two people were mobbed after being caught redhanded trying to steal a car on Jl. Jatimulya in Tambun, Bekasi, on Thursday.

Ahmad and Mardi Setiawan were trying to unlock a Kijang minivan which was parked at the roadside when the owner, Parmin, arrived unexpectedly.

Parmin cried for help and soon people arrived and caught hold of the thieves. The people beat them before taking them to the police.

Parmin said that he knew the two thieves as they lived in the village of Jatimulya. --Antara
