JAMBI: The bodies of two brothers were found floating in the Batanghari river in the city of Jambi after disappearing on Dec. 7, local police said on Monday.

Chief of the Jambi police precinct Adj. Com. Didiek Purnomo said Iwan, 14, and his younger brother Edi, 11, had been swept away by the strong current of the river on Friday, and were found dead on Sunday.

The incident occurred when they were playing near the river at Aur Duri village along with their other brothers Wira, 17, and Mamat, 3, he said.
