Two Bodies Found in Car in Bandung Barat Are Husband and Wife, Police Reveal the Chronology

Bandung Barat, West Java – A case involving two bodies found in a car parked in the yard of a vacant house on Jalan Raya Padalarang-Cianjur, Kampung Pamucatan, RT 01/10, Desa Ciburuy, Padalarang District, Bandung Barat Regency, West Java, on Tuesday 3 March 2026, is being handled by Bogor Police Resort (Polres Bogor). The victims have been identified as MA, 56, and FA, 47, residents of Citeko Lapang, RT 03/06, Desa Citeko, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency. They are believed to be victims of a suspected case of robbery with violence that resulted in death.

Bogor Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit Chief AKP Anggi Eko Prasetya said that initially they received a report from a colleague of the victims about a suspected burglary at the victims’ home in Bogor on Monday 2 March 2026 around 21:00 WIB, after which the house was found in disarray.

“Dapat kami sampaikan bahwa kemarin pukul 9 malam di Kecamatan Cisarua kami memperoleh informasi dari rekan korban yang mana ketika rekan korban tersebut mendatangi rumah korban dicurigai ada sesuatu yang aneh dan kemudian ketika itu langsung dilaporkan kepada kepolisian,” Anggi said in Padalarang, Bandung Barat, on Tuesday 3 March 2026.

Police then checked the victims’ home, which is the couple’s residence. At the scene, the house was in disarray and there were bloodstains.

“Then the team moved in and indeed the situation looked suspicious because it was disarrayed and there were traces of blood,” Anggi said.

Based on the investigation, police strongly suspect the couple were murder victims. Anggi said the police eventually located the victims’ bodies discarded in the Cimahi jurisdiction. The Bogor Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit subsequently contacted the Cimahi Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit.

“Alhamdulillah now the two victims have been evacuated; we have taken them to hospital for autopsy. The victims were a husband and wife,” he said.
