Two ATMs stolen on Sunday
Two automatic teller machines (ATMs) were stolen on Sunday, resulting in Rp 261 million (US$26,100) in losses, a senior police officer said on Monday.
City police spokesman Sr. Comr. Anton Bachrul Alam said the ATMs belonged to Bank Mandiri and Bank Prima Express.
The Bank Mandiri ATM, containing Rp 201 million, was at Perum Palm Lestari, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, while Bank Prima's, with Rp 60 million, was located at Jl. KHS Mansyur 154, Tambora, West Jakarta.
Anton said the police had yet to apprehend the suspects.
"The police are investigating them (the suspects)," he said. --JP
