Two arrested for having marijuana

JAKARTA (JP): A police patrol in West Jakarta arrested two men
and confiscated 600 grams of marijuana Friday.

City Police spokesman Lt. Col. E. Aritonang said Sunday the
two men were on their way to sell the drug in several
discotheques in West Jakarta.

Aritonang said the men, identified as An Jok, 21, and Tan
Kiong Nyat, 40, were arrested while passing through the Jembatan
Lima area, West Jakarta, on Friday night.

"Police stopped their motorcycle and searched them because
they looked very nervous when they passed the patrol car,"
Aritonang said.

The two men were detained at the West Jakarta police precinct
for further investigation, Aritonang said. (cst)
