Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Pesanggrahan District Regional Tax Collection Service Unit (UP3D) has placed stickers on 22 taxable properties across the district to notify owners of overdue taxes.

“The stickers were put up over two days, yesterday, Thursday (15 October), and today. In total, we placed them on 22 tax objects,” UP3D head Benni Setiawan said in Jakarta on Friday.

Benni said the notices covered nine land and building tax (PBB) cases, six advertising tax cases, five specific goods and services tax (PBJT) cases for food and drink, and one case each involving PBJT for arts and entertainment and PBJT for hotels.

Before putting up the stickers, he said, the unit had sent taxpayers notices and reminders as a persuasive and considerate measure, helping ensure the operation proceeded smoothly.

Benni said he hoped the stickers would improve taxpayer compliance and encourage local tax revenue to support development in Jakarta. “Of the 22 tax objects that received stickers, five made their payments immediately,” he said.

The operation involved representatives of the three pillars—the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the National Police and the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP)—as well as Pesanggrahan District officials and other relevant agencies. Participants included UP3D head Benni Setiawan Idris and Deputy District Head Fuad.
