Twenty aliens caught in Bali
DENPASAR, Bali: Authorities on this tourist island have caught 20 foreigners violating immigration regulations in a crackdown on illegal aliens.
Ten are Taiwanese, three are Dutchmen, three are Belgians, three are Japanese and four are South Koreans, the head of the local chapter of the Ministry of Justice Soehadi told Antara yesterday.
"Two of them, a Japanese and a Dutchman, have been deported, while the remaining aliens are still under investigation," he said.
Most of the foreigners had misused their visas for doing businesses during their visits, while others entered Indonesia illegally.(imn)
