Bandarlampung — Twelve Lebaran rest posts have been positioned along national roads throughout Lampung Province to facilitate public travel during the 2026 Lebaran homecoming and return journey.

“To accommodate the needs of those travelling for Lebaran homecoming, rest posts have been prepared along national roads. These posts can serve as rest areas for road users who are tired,” said M Ali Duhari, Head of the National Road Implementation Centre (BPJN) Lampung, in Bandarlampung on Wednesday.

He stated that the posts are positioned in various Commitment Making Officer (PPK) jurisdictions, with an additional post set up at the Trans Sumatra toll road rest area at kilometre 87.

The Lebaran 2026 alert posts are located at Simpang Bujung Tenuk-Terbanggi Besar, Simpang Tanjung Karang-Simpang Tiga Teluk Ambon, Simpang Pematang-Simpang Bujung Tenuk, the boundary section of Central Lampung-East Lampung-Simpang Bakauheni, and the Sukamaju-Simpang Kalianda stretch.

Additional posts are positioned along the Bengkunat-Sanggi section at PPK 2.2, the Bengkunat-Sanggi section at PPK 2.3, the Kota Agung-Rantau Tijang boundary stretch, the Bukit Kemuning-Terbanggi Besar section, the Simpang Empat-Bukit Kemuning section, and the Trans Sumatra toll road rest area at kilometre 87.

Beyond serving as resting places, the posts also function as coordination centres with other agencies and as storage facilities for disaster relief materials and vehicles. Duhari expressed hope that travellers using national roads in Lampung would complete their journeys safely and comfortably during the 2026 Lebaran transport operation. “We hope everything will proceed well, safely and comfortably until people reach their home villages,” said M Ali Duhari.
