'TVRI' refuses to be audited?

'TVRI' refuses to be audited?

From Koran Tempo

Some time ago I read a news story about TVRI's planned
changes. In this context, the following must be taken into
account:

1. The board of directors of state-owned television station
(TVRI) has refused to allow it to be audited. This has raised a
big question. What's up their sleeves? I believe financial
irregularities have occurred at TVRI as the quality of its
programs are not in proportion to the operational funds spent.

2. People's money, which has been disbursed through the office of
National Development Planning Board, has been used to cover
TVRI's operational expenses. Therefore, it's time for TVRI to
finance itself and give some profits to the state. Remember that
the country is now in crisis.
