musicians more

New live music programs on state-owned television station TVRI
have enjoyed a good response from music buffs across the country,
particularly rock musicians.

The question is, how can TVRI enable unknown and unrecorded
music groups to appear twice in one show? Actually, TVRI could
arrange it so that groups that have already released albums
appear on less popular programs, while those who have yet to
record anything get maximum publicity on more popular programs.

TVRI must allow the community to decide which groups are good
and which are not.

One piece of advice to groups that have sent in their demo
tapes but have not had any response from TVRI: Do not be sad and
do not beg. Music must be pleasant to the ears and also to the
eyes. Last but not least, TVRI is the only state-owned television
station, but there are still many private television stations.
