Turtle Educational Tourism in Sambas Promotes Hatchling Conservation Awareness
Dozens of sea turtle hatchlings are currently being held in a temporary enclosure at an educational tourism site on Sungai Belacan Beach, located in the Cermai Hamlet, Sebubus Village, Paloh District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. This turtle conservation site serves as an educational destination that provides activities including hatchling observation, the release of hatchlings into the sea, and environmental education. The initiative aims to increase community awareness regarding the conservation efforts for sea turtles (Chelonioidea sp).
