Turkiye Encourages Sustained Dialogue with Russia
Ankara (ANTARA) - Turkiye believes that sustained dialogue with Russia must be maintained regardless of the situation in the international arena, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said. “Turkiye needs to continue its dialogue with Russia. By keeping communication channels open, we can discuss regional crises and find ways to resolve them,” Fidan told CNN Turk on Thursday. He said that contacts between Ankara and Moscow cover a range of issues, including the situation in Ukraine, the Black Sea region, Syria, the South Caucasus, as well as bilateral trade, economic, and energy cooperation. Fidan stressed that Turkiye will continue to use diplomatic mechanisms to maintain stability in the region.
