Every step they take is a symbol of resurgence, that limitations are not a barrier to moving forward and contributing.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (Tugu Insurance), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), commemorated National Awakening Day by distributing prosthetic legs to 40 traffic accident victims to help them return to productivity.

Tugu Insurance President Director Adi Pramana stated that the programme aims to bring hope and renewed spirit to beneficiaries.

‘Every step they take is a symbol of resurgence, that limitations are not a barrier to moving forward and contributing,’ said Adi Pramana in an official statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.

He explained that the ‘Bakti Tugu’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, themed ‘Moving Without Limits’, was conducted in collaboration with Kitabisa.org and encouraged public participation through the National Online Donation Day (Hardolnas) 2026 event.

He noted that the initiative successfully gathered 1,570 donations from 672 donors, with all funds allocated to mobility aids for traffic accident victims.

The aid distribution took place at the Cisaranten Endah Village Hall in Bandung, West Java. The assistance is expected to help beneficiaries regain productivity, boost confidence, and lead more independent lives.

Adi said the programme focuses not only on physical aid but also on building a more inclusive society capable of moving without limits.

With support from various parties, he hopes more disabled individuals will gain access to suitable assistive devices and improve their quality of life.

He also expressed hope that the programme would continue to deliver comprehensive positive impacts, enhancing quality of life and fostering a spirit of resilience and contribution.

‘We hope this initiative inspires many parties to build more collaborations for broader positive change,’ Adi added.
