Jakarta, VIVA – Mobile driving licence (SIM Keliling) services on Tuesday, 17 February 2026 continue to face operational adjustments in several regions. The temporary closure is linked to the national holiday and collective leave for Chinese New Year 2026.

For the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) jurisdiction covering Jakarta and Bekasi, driving licence services remain suspended today. The closure applies to driving licence processing centres (Satpas), licence service counters, and mobile licence units.

All services are scheduled to resume normal operations from Wednesday, 18 February 2026. Members of the public whose licences expired on 16–17 February will still be given the opportunity to renew on 18 February through the renewal mechanism.

Should applicants miss this deadline, they will be required to apply for a new licence through the full issuance procedure, meaning they must sit both the theory and practical examinations in accordance with prevailing regulations.

Unlike Jakarta and Bekasi, mobile driving licence services in Bogor remain available for renewal of Category A and C licences. Service points are located at BTM Mall and the Jambu Dua Mall car park, with morning registration hours.

Meanwhile in Bandung, mobile driving licence services continue to operate as scheduled. For Tuesday, 17 February 2026, mobile units are stationed at McDonald's Pasir Koja, Jalan Soekarno Hatta No. 128–130, and at Batununggal Modern Market, Jalan Batununggal Block R3.

On subsequent days through to 21 February 2026, service points will rotate to several other locations including ITC Kebon Kelapa, Tenth Avenue, The Kings Shopping Centre, BPR KS, and Metro Indah Mall. Members of the public may choose the nearest location for their renewal.

In addition to mobile licence vehicles, driving licence renewals in Bandung can also be processed at the licence counter at Bandung City's Public Service Mall (MPP) and the Botanica licence counter. These outlets serve Category A and C licence renewals for applicants requiring alternative locations.

It should be noted that mobile driving licence services only handle renewals for licences that are still valid. Applicants must bring a valid national identity card (KTP), the original licence along with a photocopy, and undergo a health examination.

Renewal fees in accordance with Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue are Rp80,000 for a Category A licence and Rp75,000 for a Category C licence.
