Tuban Police Distribute 40,000 Litres of Clean Water to Three Drought-Affected Villages

The Tuban District Police have distributed 40,000 litres of clean water to three villages in Grabagan Subdistrict that are beginning to experience drought conditions. The social assistance was delivered on Wednesday as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration. Tuban Police Chief AKB Alaiddin dispatched eight water tanker trucks, each with a capacity of 5,000 litres, from the Tuban Police headquarters. The recipient villages were Gesikan, Ngandong, and Grabagan, areas that regularly suffer from water shortages during the dry season. According to Alaiddin, the social activity is not merely about providing aid but also reflects a sense of care and togetherness in helping communities in need. ‘We hope what we have given can benefit the community and become a good deed for all of us,’ he said. He noted that the success of the activity was due to the support of various parties who participated in helping fellow citizens. Kasiran, a resident of Gesikan Village, expressed gratitude to the Tuban Police for the clean water assistance during the dry season. ‘On behalf of the residents, we thank the Tuban Police for the clean water aid provided,’ he explained. He added that the assistance was very beneficial for the community and helped meet their daily clean water needs. The clean water aid was distributed to several villages experiencing water shortages.
