Try to dedicate 11 N. Sulawesi projects
MANADO, N Sulawesi (Antara): Vice President Try Soetrisno is
scheduled to dedicate 11 projects in North Sulawesi worth Rp 897
billion (US$378.4 million) on April 12.
North Sulawesi Governor EE Mangindaan said here yesterday that
a ceremony to dedicate the projects would be held at Lilupang
beach resort, Minahasa regency.
The projects included a gold mine under a work of contract of
Newmont Minahasa Raya in Minahasa regency with an investment of
more than Rp 400 billion, 300-room Novotel Hotel and support
buildings in Manado built on 36,000 square meters of land worth
more than Rp 198 billion, and Paradise hotel and resort and
support buildings in Likupang, Minahasa regency, with 150 rooms
and an investment of more than Rp 155 billion.
The other projects are the Sartika Hotel in Tongkaina, Manado,
having 175 rooms worth Rp 30 billion, a 220-KV power plant and
network built by the state electricity corporation PLN worth Rp
40 billion.
The projects also included a 26-MW diesel power station in
Sawangan, Minahasa regency worth Rp 36 billion, electrification
of a number of villages with a total investment of Rp 8.7 billion
and a building for the Sam Ratulangi University in Manado on
13.026 m2 of floor space worth Rp 8.9 billion.
An intercity bus terminal in Tomohon, Minahasa regency, worth
Rp 3.5 billion, seaport facilities in Singihe regency worth Rp
7.5 billion, and a potable water project in Mihanasa worth Rp 7.4
billion are also among the projects.
