Trump's Lawyer: King Charles May Have Already Embraced Islam

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON — Former New York Mayor and Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has made controversial statements attacking King Charles III and the Muslim community in Great Britain. In an interview on the Uncensored podcast hosted by Piers Morgan on Monday (30/3/2026), Giuliani claimed that the King of England may have secretly ‘embraced’ Islam.

Giuliani asserted that he had received reports that Britain would become a Muslim country within the next 10 years. He even personally attacked King Charles III by calling him the “Muslim monarch of England”.

This statement refers to conspiracy theories that exploit King Charles III’s admiration for Islam. As is known, King Charles III is a devout head of the Church of England, but he is also recognised as an admirer of Islamic art and philosophy, having even studied Arabic to understand the Quran directly.

In contrast to Giuliani’s claims of a “takeover”, King Charles III has often described the Muslim community as a “valuable asset to Britain” that enriches the nation’s cultural wealth.

Giuliani’s sharp rhetoric emerges amid his efforts to defend the military aggression of the United States (US) and Israel against Iran. According to Giuliani, the Islamic influence in Britain is a threat driven by Tehran. “Eliminate the Islamic Republic of Iran, and this entire movement (Islamisation) will reverse direction,” Giuliani claimed without basis.

Attack on Sharia

In the interview, Giuliani also launched verbal attacks against Islamic law. “Sharia law is a death cult. And the Quran is a death cult,” he snapped. He also accused that Sharia law has dominated various areas in Britain, although in fact, Sharia councils in Britain are only informal advisory bodies without permanent legal power.
