Trump: US-Israel War Could End if Iran Agrees
Istanbul (ANTARA) - United States President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the US-Israel war against Iran could end if Tehran complies with the provisions of the agreement currently under consideration. "Assuming Iran agrees to what has been agreed upon, which may be a big assumption, then the legendary 'Epic Fury' will end, and the highly effective blockade will allow the Strait of Hormuz to open for all, including Iran," Trump said via his Truth Social account. Trump did not provide further details on the content of the agreement, the specific demands made to Iran, or the timing of any potential next military actions. He also warned that if Iran does not accept those terms, the bombing will continue "at a much higher level and intensity" than before. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most strategic shipping routes, connecting the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. As reported, disruptions to that route could have a major impact on global energy markets and regional security. Source: Anadolu
