Trump Urges Republican Senators Not to Delay Passing Save America Act

President Donald Trump has urged Republican senators not to delay passing the ‘Save America Act’, which aims to tighten voting rules as part of the White House’s effort to combat election fraud. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt previously stated that Trump’s patience with Senate Majority Leader John Thune is wearing thin. Trump wants the bulk of the Save America bill passed before the congressional recess in August. ‘All Senate Republicans! Stop the filibustering, which the Democrats will do as soon as they get the chance, and pass the Save America Act, and all of the other things, including the Budget, and the upcoming Debt Limit. Do it now, before it is too late!!!’ Trump said on Truth Social. The Save America Act requires US residents to show a passport or birth certificate when registering to vote in federal elections. The Republican-sponsored initiative aims to exclude foreign nationals and undocumented immigrants from voting, who are currently allowed to register without such documents in many states.
