Trump threatens Iran with new attacks if it refuses to sign deal

Washington (ANTARA) - US President Donald Trump has threatened Iran with new attacks if Tehran refuses to sign the agreement promptly. “We will hit them much harder and more brutally in the future if they do not sign that deal immediately!” Trump said on Truth Social. Previously, on 28 February, the US and Israel launched attacks on several targets in Iran, causing damage and civilian casualties. Then, on 7 April, Washington and Tehran announced a two-week ceasefire. Negotiations in Islamabad ended without results, and Trump extended the cessation of hostilities to give Iran time to submit a “comprehensive proposal.” Subsequently, on Sunday night, Trump announced Project Freedom to assist ships blocked in the Strait of Hormuz and attempting to leave it. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Trump said he had decided to halt the operation temporarily to see if a peace agreement with Iran could be reached.
