Trump Threatens Iran: Agree to a Deal or Nothing Will Be Left!

US President Donald Trump has once again issued a threat against Iran. Trump warned Iran that “nothing will be left of them” if Tehran does not immediately agree to a peace deal with the United States.

“For Iran, time is running out, and they should move immediately, FAST, or nothing will be left of them,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “TIME IS VERY CRITICAL!” he added, as reported by Al Arabiya on Monday (18/5/2026).

According to reports from Axios, citing two US officials, Trump is scheduled to hold a meeting in the Situation Room at the White House with his top national security team on Tuesday (19/5) local time to discuss military options against Iran.

According to the report, Trump desires a deal to end the war. However, Iran’s rejection of several US demands and its refusal to make significant concessions regarding its nuclear programme have brought military options back under consideration.

Citing an Israeli official, Axios also reported on Sunday (17/5) that Trump spoke via telephone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss Iran. Trump and Netanyahu discussed the possibility of new military action against Iran during the conversation, according to the Israeli public broadcasting media, Kan.

Earlier on Sunday, Netanyahu stated that he was scheduled to speak with Trump that same day. Netanyahu added that he would hear about Trump’s recent trip to China, while indicating that both leaders would also discuss Iran.

Meanwhile, media linked to the Iranian government stated on Sunday (17/5) that the US has failed to make any concrete concessions in its latest response to Iran’s proposed agenda for negotiations to end the war.
