Trump says he looks forward to Xi's visit to Washington D.C.

Beijing (ANTARA) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that he is willing to continue sincere and in-depth communication with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In addition, Trump stated that he looks forward to hosting Xi in Washington, D.C.

The statement was made by Trump during his private meeting with Xi at Zhongnanhai, Beijing.

The meeting took place a day after Xi held talks with Trump, who was on a state visit to China from May 13 to 15.

Trump said he was very grateful to Xi for inviting him to visit Zhongnanhai.

His visit to China has been the focus of the world and has been very successful and unforgettable, Trump said.
