Trump Says He Is Considering Limited Strikes Against Iran
Washington (ANTARA) - US President Donald Trump said on Friday (20/2) that he is considering limited military strikes to pressure Iran into making a deal.
"I think you could say that I'm considering it," Trump told reporters at the White House.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday (19/2) that Trump was considering "initial limited military strikes" against Iranian government or military sites.
According to the report, if Iran continues to refuse to meet US nuclear demands, the Trump administration would respond with an extensive campaign against Iranian government facilities, potentially targeted at toppling the government in Tehran.
Trump said on Thursday (19/2) that 10 to 15 days was "enough time" for Tehran to reach a deal with the US.
"We're going to get a deal or get a deal, one way or another," Trump said.
