Trump Reveals True Purpose of Attack on Iran, Says It Is Nearly Achieved

US President Donald Trump has once again emphasised the main objective of Operation “Epic Fury,” which he says has systematically weakened Iran’s military capabilities and is now nearing its final phase. In his statement, Trump affirmed that the operation’s goal from the outset was to dismantle Iran’s ability to threaten the US or project power beyond its borders. He stated that these measures include the destruction of Iran’s navy, air force, and missile programme, as well as targeting the country’s defence industrial base. “That means wiping out their navy, which is now completely destroyed, their air force, and their missile programme on a scale never seen before, as well as destroying their defence industrial base,” Trump said in his state of the union address at the White House on Wednesday (1/4/026) evening. Trump claimed that the operation has successfully achieved most of its targets. “We have done it. Their entire navy is gone. Their air force is gone. Their missiles are almost depleted or destroyed,” he said. He added that these steps will cripple Iran’s military capabilities, destroy support for proxy groups, and eliminate the country’s chances of building nuclear weapons. Trump also praised the performance of the US military in the operation. “Our armed forces are extraordinary. Nothing like this has ever been seen. Everyone is talking about it,” he said. He reiterated that the strategic objectives of the operation are nearly achieved. “And tonight, I am pleased to say that this strategic objective is almost complete,” Trump said.
