REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, WASHINGTON – US President Donald J Trump is fuming following the absence of assistance from any country other than Israel in attacking Iran. He instructed other nations to fetch their own required oil from the Strait of Hormuz, which is currently blockaded by Iran.

In a post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump suggested that countries like the UK must build “courage” to go to the Strait of Hormuz and “take” their own fuel.

“You must start learning how to fight for yourselves; the US will not be there to help you anymore, just as you were not there for us,” Trump said as he criticised countries that “refuse to get involved in the destruction of Iran”.

He stated that these countries could purchase “jet fuel” from the US, of which there is “plenty”, if their supplies are running low. “Iran has, essentially, been destroyed. The hardest part is over. Take your own oil!” Trump concluded his social media post by saying he would announce further statements on the matter soon.

So far, no US allies in Europe have been willing to deploy military forces to attack Iran. European leaders insist that the illegal US-Israel attack on Iran is not their war. Germany, a close ally of the US and Israel, even stated that the attack is illegal and disrupts world conditions.

Meanwhile, Gulf countries hosting US military bases have also not been willing to enter the battlefield despite their territories being bombed by Iran. The recent message emerging is that they, like Iran, are victims of impulsive US and Israeli aggression.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that there would be actions against US allies in NATO regarding their stance of refusing to join the war.

“And for NATO, that decision is left to the president. But I just want to say, a lot has been revealed. A lot has been shown to the world about what our allies are willing to do for the United States when we make such a great effort on behalf of the free world,” Hegseth said at a press conference on Tuesday.

As if forgetting that the US started the war, he said that so far, US allies have been the targets of Iranian missiles. “Those missiles haven’t even reached the United States. They target allies and others. But when we ask for additional help or simple flight access, we get questions or obstacles or hesitations.”
