Trump: I Should Have Won Eight Nobel Peace Prizes!

US President Donald Trump said he should have won eight Nobel Peace Prizes for helping to settle eight wars around the world.

Trump also attacked Navi Pillay, the prominent South African judge who won the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, describing her as unknown and an “Israel hater”.

In a post on his Truth Social account, reported by Anadolu Agency on Saturday (10 October 2026), Trump again expressed frustration at missing out on the prize, despite what he said were numerous recommendations to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, based in Oslo.

“This woman, who received the Nobel Peace Prize, beat out the great United States, whose representative, ME, has settled eight wars and done many other things,” Trump wrote in a post featuring a photograph of Pillay.

“I know nothing about this woman, and neither does anyone else! In fact, as far as I know, no one has ever heard of her, except that she clearly hates Israel. I don’t know what this woman has done,” he said.

Trump said his record made him more deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize, claiming he had helped settle eight wars. He also referred to recommendations from world leaders that he receive the award.

“I have settled eight wars, with letters of support sent to the Norwegian Nobel Committee by the presidents and prime ministers of countries I helped, and I will soon settle, or bring peace to, two other conflicts: Iran and Russia/Ukraine,” Trump said in his post.

He argued that his role in resolving the intense conflict between Pakistan and India should, by itself, have been “more than enough to win the Nobel Prize”.

“The truth is, I should have won eight Nobel Peace Prizes, not just one,” the US President declared.

Trump listed the eight wars he claimed to have helped settle as Cambodia–Thailand, Kosovo–Serbia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo–Rwanda, Pakistan–India, Israel–Iran, Egypt–Ethiopia, Armenia–Azerbaijan and Israel–Hamas.

“Additionally, I prevented Iran from having nuclear weapons that could destroy the entire Middle East, and eventually a much wider region! I have saved more lives than anyone in history,” Trump claimed.

He also referred to what he called his “record of PEACE”, which he said was “something no one has ever achieved before”.

Trump cited the return of all Israeli hostages from the Gaza Strip, the removal of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, whom he called the “Evil Dictator of the World”, and averting wars between South Korea and North Korea, Japan and North Korea, and China and Taiwan.

“Despite all this, today’s Nobel Prize went to a liberal figure working at the United Nations, someone whose name no one has even heard,” Trump wrote.

“The United States, represented by me as your President, should have received the Nobel Peace Prize, but did not,” he said.

“This is an indelible stain on Norway, something that will never be forgotten. The Nobel ‘Peace’ Prize has lost its credibility for ever because of a handful of radical, anti-democratic ideologues who are enemies of civilisation,” Trump concluded, referring to Norway as the location of the Nobel Committee’s headquarters.
