Trump hints at continued military operation against Iran

Washington (ANTARA) - US President Donald Trump has hinted that military operations against Iran will continue, although he did not provide further details.

“The United States has shown the world during the extraordinary 16 months of the Trump administration, which includes the stock market and 401K pension funds at an all-time high, military victories and growing relations in Venezuela, the destruction of the Iranian military (to be continued!),” Trump wrote on the Truth Social platform.

On 28 February, the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iranian territory. Washington and Tehran then announced a ceasefire on 7 April, but the United States imposed a blockade on Iranian ports, while Iran implemented special transit rules for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned against further attacks on his country and said that such measures would not be effective.
