Trump Claims He Suggested Zelensky Meet Putin to End War

The letter was sent on Thursday local time. Zelensky proposed ending the war. “Ukraine proposes to end this war through direct engagement between us and you. I propose a meeting,” Zelensky said in the letter. Zelensky said he was ready for a full ceasefire during the negotiations. “Ukraine is ready for a full ceasefire while negotiations are underway,” he added.
