Trump Boasts of Preparing "Ultimate" Strike on Iran, It's Time
US President Donald Trump has affirmed that the “Epic Fury” operation in Iran will persist until all strategic objectives are achieved. An ultimate strike is set to be launched imminently. Trump stated that within the next two to three weeks, the US will unleash a “very hard” attack on Iran, resulting in significant impacts. “We will take them back to the Stone Age,” he declared in his State of the Union address at the White House on Wednesday (1/4/2026) local time. He reiterated that regime change is not the primary goal of the operation, although he noted that many Iranian leaders have been killed during the conflict. He also warned that if no agreement is reached soon, the US is prepared to simultaneously target Iran’s critical infrastructure, including power plants. However, Trump added that Iran’s oil facilities are not yet targets, despite being the easiest to destroy in his view. In his statement, Trump claimed that Iran’s air defence capabilities have been paralysed. “They have no air defence. Their radars are destroyed. We are unstoppable,” he said. Trump also highlighted the impact of the attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, previously hit by B-2 bombers. He stated that the damage inflicted is so extensive that it will take months before the area can be approached again. He emphasised that the US will strike again if Iran attempts to revive its programme. “We hold all the cards,” Trump said.
