United States President Donald Trump has claimed that he has achieved peace, stating this during his speech at the 81st United Nations (UN) General Assembly.

“As the president of the most extraordinary nation in history, I have no interest in letting danger continue to grow for another day,” Trump said, as reported by CNN on Tuesday (22/09/2026).

Trump asserted that he has made America the most powerful nation in the world. He further claimed to have acted ahead of other world leaders to secure peace.

“So while others only talk, I have acted. While others talk about peace, I have achieved peace. While others ignore threats, I have faced them. While others talk about courage, America has shown it. While others promise strength, I have used it to make America the most powerful nation in the world,” he explained.

Addressing world leaders, Trump cited Iran as a primary threat and claimed America’s success in confronting it.

“There is no better example of danger being allowed to gather strength until it threatens the world than the number one sponsor of terrorism, the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he stated.
